It’s been awhile but things do progress. As some of you may have heard there has been a proposed change of wording in the county to allow for “a lodge and or resort cabins, and other supporting ancillary buildings” This was put in by a principal of Verdis, a land use planning and landscape company that is linked to Dennis Swartout’s projects.
Make no mistake this is another effort to erode the wording and allow the development that we have all been opposed to.
Attached is the link for the meeting agenda, that will go before the Board of County Commissioners this Thursday @ 6PM down at the Kootenai County Administration Building. Hope to see you all there so the commissioners will hear the voice, concerns and desires of the residents of Kootenai County and not just the desires of developers to line their pockets with profit and to ruin our rural Kootenai County.
