Butterfly is working mostly on a portion of the Arizona border near the small border town port of entry Sasabe (Sass-Uh-Bee). As you can see on her Youtube channel, it is mostly exploited women and children who enter the US, under the direct control of the Cartels who control their movements using cell phones.
Once confronted, the group of over 30 migrants moved quickly at the direction of the cartels. Many of the immigrants dropped and crushed their phones, discarding them.
