CHINA LAUNCHES THIRD AIRCRAFT CARRIER, THE FUJIAN: China officially launched its third and most sophisticated
aircraft carrier today at the China State Shipbuilding Corporation shipyard in Shanghai. The carrier, which
has been under construction since 2018, is China’s first fully domestically developed and built aircraft carrier

June 14 | The Russian-made flight control radar of the Damascus international airport was
destroyed by Israel.
Israel attacked Damascus International Airport a few days ago and shut it down.
News sites reported, relying on recent aerial photographs taken after the attack, that the runways of the
field were severely damaged and in fact stopped all air craft activity in the field.
June 18th | Russia Formulating a decision in the Security Council against Israel following the attack attribute to
it at the airport in Damascus.
The attack attributed to Israel last week at the Damascus airport led to its shutdown, and also drew
criticism of the move from Russia. The criticism led to a very unusual move — a Russian official move against Israel in the UN Security Council.
June 16 | An Iranian plot foiled? Another Iranian plane was detained in South America.
A Venezuelan plane that once belonged to an Iranian Revolutionary Guards airline was detained in
Bolivia — The affair comes after another plane of the same company was detained in Argentina and its crew
