Very nice review.
I too recently was looking at different camping stoves and ultimately went with a Kelly Kettle. Comparatively speaking, it is no more bulky than a stove you reviewed and weighs less when you take the fuel into account.
What sold me on the Kelly Kettle was that there are no moving parts and no liquid fuel as you burn whatever combustible materials that can be found. It’ll boil about 20oz. of water in 2-3 minutes and has an adapter for a pot or pan to cook while you’re boiling water. Lastly, when everything is done, the kettle can double as a water container.
A well-done review. I’ve been looking for a stove like this to round out different cooking methods (2 is 1, 1 is none, 4 is more). T-REX 2016 is fast approaching… it’ll be a good time to test this new gear.
I hope the links to the items in Amazon are linked to your referral account because I just picked up the stove, fuel, canisters, and a few other things I’ve been holding onto in my shopping cart. I hope a good chunk of change heads your way.
