We’re happy to announce that the situation in Priest River was
peacefully resolved. About 100 patriots showed up, prayed, spoke, and
escorted the VA representative to a private backyard meeting where John
(the veteran), Rep. Matt Shea, Rep. Heather Scott, Sheriff Wheeler, and
some others had a ‘heart-to-heart’ with the VA representative about Due
Process and the constitution.
The VA rep decided he would go back to the VA and work through the
appeal process. Everyone’s happy! Well, the feds aren’t happy.
Sheriff’s department and City PD actually showed up together and the
sheriff announced “This veteran will not be disarmed today. My deputies
and I will make sure of that.” (pretty darn close quote of him, but it’s
actually a paraphrase based on my recollection).
Thank you to all of you who stepped up support this veteran!
Posted by: Rep Heather Scott (ID)- Time to Stand against Gun Confiscation in North Idaho!
Based on an assessment of a letter I received, I believe that the Department of Veterans Affairs is coming to a veteran’s home in Priest River today to check for and confiscate his guns based on nothing more than a stroke which has left him with some mild physical impairment.
AmRRON Operators are on site along with patriots and officials-
