Susan Kimball, a Kindergarten teacher of 20 years in Missouri, recently testified in support of Missouri’s SB 514, which “prohibits the State Board of Education, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and school districts from implementing the Common Core State Standards” and SB 798, which “modifies provisions relating to elementary and secondary education standards and assessments.”

During her testimony Kimball revealed the bullying she, as a teacher who does not support the Common Core standards, has been facing for the last six weeks. She said the bullying comes from other teachers and the administration and is directly related to her opposition of the Common Core.
