Our Shoutcast account isn’t broadcasting and it could take up to 24 hours to be back up and running. And it’s (confession time) my fault.
I had paid the account several months in advance. When I put the expiration/renew date on the calendar, I placed my reminder in JULY 30th, as opposed to JUNE 30th. So, it expired at midnight this morning. My reminders went to the old gmail account (which I never use anymore). I paid it immediately (this morning), but it could take up to 24 hours to post to the Shoutcast account.
So, no live streaming tonight. I’m sorry about that. Always learning. I’ll record tonight’s show and upload it to the Podbean player.
We postponed ‘The Militia’ topic until next Sunday, July 7th.
Still, an episode will be recorded and uploaded late tonight. THIS WEEK, July 30th I’ll be making several announcements, plus we’ll be re-airing segments from previous shows to walk you through the process of getting set up and receiving digital communications. Text messages over radio, with NO INFRASTRUCTURE, such as internet, power grid, cell phones, etc. And you do NOT have to be a ham radio operator to receive these messages. This will be an important topic, especially for those of you who are new to Radio Free Redoubt and prepper/emergency communications.
