Below is a script designed for the 2m Net in northern Idaho (Northwest AmRRON Net):

NORTHWEST AMRRON NET.

CQ CQ CQ AMRON, CQ CQ CQ  AMRRON Operators  This is (—call sign—), and I will be your net control operator for this evenings net.  This net meets every Thursday at 2000 hours  on the KARS 146.980 repeater.  This repeater uses a PL of 100, with a minus offset.

Any station needing to make an emergency call, please break in at any time. This is a directed net, please hold any transmissions until asked to do so.

AMRRON  stands for American Redoubt Radio Operators Network.  We are a group of Amateur Radio Operators  preparing for emergencies and worst case scenarios, by developing a network of communicators using all forms of communications such as, CB, FRS, MURS, also known as “muurrs” and the INTERNET, in addition to all amateur modes and frequencies.  Frequencies other than those allocated to hams are referred to as the “Channel 3 project.  All non ham radios operators will  use channel 3 or the common frequency designated for that channel for whatever type of radio you are using.

All channel 3 check-ins can be done over the INTERNET by emailing, AMRRON@RadioFreeRedoubt.com, or by contacting a ham relay station using channel 3, and have your check-in relayed into this net this evening.  All hams are encouraged to monitor channel 3 for relays during this net.  Please do not use your ham call sign over Channel 3 frequencies.  Also do not use your personal AMRRON call sign over Ham radio

Are there any stations with Priority traffic, or stations wishing to make any comments, announcements, or that have questions at this time?

All ham operators please act as Relays for Channel 3 check-ins on FRS, MURS, and CB bands in your area.   At this time I will call for all Ham  operators wishing to check in.  This is Net Control Station (—call sign—).  Check-ins please come now.
