NEW UPDATE (As of 1700hrs Pacific, 13 Feb.):

Since we had so much difficulty juggling computers and reconfiguring the new one, we’re going to postpone Episode 13-03 until next Sunday, 17 Feb. 2013.  We should be good to go for a full one-hour broadcast, including the preshow airings of some of your favorite Old Time Radio shows and podcasts, such as Wallbuilders, Gunowners News Hour, etc.

John Jacob attended the Sheriff Wheeler meeting over in Bonner County, ID, so he’ll be covering that as well.

Feb. 17th:  Episode 13-03 Reintroduction to the American Redoubt & patriot Sheriff Wheeler

Feb. 24th:  Episode 13-04 Staying Connected:  Reintroduction to AmRRON, CH3, and Covert Communications

Item #1:  The website was running painfully slow over the last several days.  We edited a couple of the posts which contained massive media (photo) files and it bogged everything down.  It seems to be loading much faster now.

Item #2:  As most of you know, the motherboard on our streaming/broadcasting computer crashed two weeks ago, which is why there has been no pre-show or live broadcasts on Sundays.  We have that problem resolved as of late Sunday evening (Feb. 10th).  We will be uploading Episode 13-03 (Reintroduction to the American Redoubt) as a Podcast within the next 48 hours.

Item #3:  Due to the continuing project related to our relocation within the American Redoubt, we plan to continue broadcasting/podcasting every OTHER Sunday through the month of March, 2013.  We’ll assess the situation then.  We’re eagerly looking forward to returning to our regular WEEKLY broadcasts.

Item #4:  A very special (and humble) ‘Thank You’ goes out to those of you who made donations to help cover the costs of getting the computer situation taken care of.  Those add up and truly relieve some of the burden.  We don’t do Radio Free Redoubt for a living, so the costs associated with the website, internet service, equipment, etc. comes out of our own pockets, with the exception of some advertising and the occasional ‘gift’ donation.  It is very appreciated.  Thank you, sincerely.

In His service, and yours,

 – John Jacob Schmidt
