There is news article that is pretty important and while it isn’t the news that you usually cover, it might be worth considering a mention.  I read it first at Natural News — the main stream media is not covering this one.  Is he an alarmist?  I don’t know but either way, the release of such a large amount of nuclear material — in addition to the massive releases that have already happened — can and will effect us all.  You will see from the second article that a request has gone out to the UN for emergency assistance.  Supporting documentation is also below.

As an aside, here is map of the world’s nuclear reactors. Looks like there’s only one operating in the AR.  Thank goodness! Also interesting to note that Oregon Senator Ron Widen is actively attempting to work with the Japanese to figure out a way to quickly address the problem at reactor #4 and the site in general.
